Can I change my profile picture?
If you would like to change your profile picture, you're in luck - it's quick and easy.
1. Look at the upper-right corner of your page. You should see a link to "My Settings." Click it.
2. Next to your picture is a small colorful square. Click it. A window will pop up inviting you to upload a new picture.

Sorry Joshua - the "your photo" section of the "my settings" page is blank - could be my photo is too large and gumming up the works - any ideas?

No problem, Paul. Let's try to figure this out. I can see your profile picture beside your name in this forum, so it's in the system. Do you see the colorful box to the right of where your picture should be at the "your photo" section?

No I do not - I see the box in the group photo section (200 plus photos) but under "my photos" (8 photos) it's not there...

If you click the tab, "My Page," then beneath your picture on the left hand side should be a link, "Change my Photo." Clicking it will bring you to the My Settings page. There, the "Account" tab should be selected. On that page, the fourth line down should be "Your Photo." To the immediate right should be two small boxes. The left one should be your current profile picture, and the right one is what you click to change that. Any luck with that approach?

That's the page I have been on looking for something to click on to upload a new photo - there is nothing to the immediate right of "your photo" at all. My suspicion is that the photo I originally downloaded is too large - can you delete it on your end? When we get this resolved I have some questions about friends - inviting them and how to see the friend requests I have in - one thing at a time though - and if we need to delete the account I can start over - no big deal.

Could you please fix the "your photo" part of my page - there is nothing to click on - no colorful box - no reproduction of my photo - no two small boxes - nothing....

Thanks for that information, Paul. Could you please tell me what internet browser you're using, and what version of the browser it is. It's possible that Ning isn't supported by your browser (or your particular version of your browser. I can tell you for sure that the latest version of Internet Explorer and Firefox support Ning.

Hm, I'm stumped on this one. What's your operating system? Have you visited Ning's help pages? Have you tried logging in on anyone else's computer? Please let me know if you find out what the issue is.
