Relive the history of the Lewis & Clark Expedition, come join us at Lewis & Clark State Park near Onawa, Iowa. Our Earth Day celebration will entail volunteers assisting the park ranger and his staff clean-up and prepare the park for the coming season of fun and history. We will be celebrating Earth Day on Saturday, April 19th to accommodate travelers with children in school. Come join us for work and fun, walk on the deck of the keelboat replica just like the one Lewis & Clark used. Maybe even make yourself a rope, or navigate the historic waters in one of the replica pirogues we have at the lake, or simply view our boats from a strategic tower overlooking the historic boats docked at the lake. Lunch will be served for those participating in our Earth Day event. Arrive at Lewis & Clark State Park at 9:00am, and join us for a little work, a little fun, and enjoy the company of ours.
