Great website on desertification problem in Inner Mongolia

Hi Edward:
We;'re going to Inner Mongolia around the time of Earthday to help plant 130,000 trees with volunteers from Japan and the local people. My role is as a key speaker, becuase of my tree planting activities over the years and with me will be my wife Konomi and our waling partner Yuji.

There is even a possibiltiy that the Walking tree Man will be there from the USA. We are joining with him as well for a tour around the region of Nanping - this will also be around Earthday so what can we do together? Let me know.

Paul, it sounds like an interesting idea. We don't have any staff in Inner Mongolia, but if you have any contacts in the region, please encourage them to join this group and get the conversation started. Then other people who see this discussion and are able to help can give their input. Good luck with your walk =)
