Instilled in me is a Clean Green UDC!!

Profile Information

About Me:
I am currently a freshman attending the University of the District of Columbia, majoring in Criminal Justice. I love the earth I live on and strongly agree to more recycling, proper disposal of waste, and less pollution. I am working toward a more clean and green UDC. First, I want to start this web page to let people know I am a strong supporter of a clean earth, I want to build awareness about being more conscious of the trash we throw on the ground, the electricity we use, smoke pollution, and most importantly proper disposal of waste.
My Home Country:
USA
Organizing an Earth Day Event This Year?
No - But I'd like to participate
My Environmental Interest(s) (Climate Change, Solid Waste, etc.):
Prevention of Global Warming

Before Hemp became illegal it was a renewable source to make food, oils, textiles, clothing and much more. Once again we as humans destroyed the advantage of using hemp because people began smoking it to get high. Even though hemp is illegal in America other countries such as China still use this plant. Is possible to overturn hemp from being illegal to help save the earth?

A seed within the soil
Recognizing a family to be filled with joy
Holding hands
Sharing morals
Is no longer contained within the soil
Pride and respect we are supposed to share
Respect for ourselves and the earth we no longer have
We break our souls
We break our morals
To be lost in the sea
Like underwater corals
But if we change the culture
And change it fast
We can rebuild a new earth
Strong and stead fast

Pollution filtrates throughout the air

Leaving my body and insides in despair

Trash overflows our green ground

Killing the earth not making a sound

Leaders confuse our minds

Sweeping the truth under

Leaving their followers blind

Toxins of smoke creep inside of me

Causing inner problems

So down deep

We harm ourselves

Living our lives under a spell

The earth invited us to live and breath

Given us the habitat to lay down and concieve

And in return what we do

But cut down more trees

In your future what do you see?

Images so vivid

Your mind will not be intrigued
