She has lived for many years
Longer than anyone else
Change has taken its toll for the worst
In the beginning she was fresh and pure
As time went on, people started being created
Animals started reproducing
Her purity was slowly withering away
Eventually she became over exertated with trying to keep up with the changes,
Nothing could stop the pollution, the growing factories
Nothing could stop the smog,the long concretes
Littering and waste became the norm for everyday people
All out of control
Gas filled tears were her cries for help
Slowly she is dying and withering away
What are we to do?

- I am a student at UDC and my major is social work.As a social worker, ways I can save the earth would be to save documents on the computer instead of printing. This would reduce paper consumption and save the trees. I would encourage my co-workers and employers to minimize the use of paper.
I enjoy reading, writing stories & poetry. Most recently I have been reading poems about the earth. The earth poems have heightened my awareness on how people treat the earth. Helping people become aware of saving the Earth is a new found interest of mine, the more people know about the Earth and all the harms its going through, the more they will be interested in saving it.
