Donna Burrus said… - Be sure and check with your state energy education network. The NEED (National Energy Education Development) is a wonderful source of activities and projects. They even have state competitions with really great prizes for the kids. My students are actively envolved with this network along with the Teens for Planet Earth with the World Wildlife Society. They offer great support for projects and have a great website. My group will be participating in the 19th Annual Service-Learning Environmental Service Fair in MN in April. If any of you guys are there please stop by our display. We would love to meet everyone! Have a great Easter break. Donna

- I wish we could participate but we are definately over booked right now . My group outlines their goals and objective over the summer and don't have a lot of room to go outside their goals because of sports and other commitments that have our students very busy.

Earthday 2008
Hey Everyone!
Just wanted to wish everyone a happy earthday. I hope everyhting is going well and that everyone has some cool stuff planned!
The earthday postcard art and poetry show is up and running! We are so happy with the success we had this year! I think it was our best participation yet! We had postcards from the students at my high school, the elementry school, and middle school in my shool district. But thats not all! We also had some amazing submissions from Bulgaria, Arizona, Montana… Continue

The Cedar grove-Belgium High school Art Club is pleased to announce our 7th annual Earth Day Postcard Contest and poetry art show....
The Guidelines:
-Entries should in some way relate to nature or protecting the earth
-This show is open to all artists. All work must be original and about the size of a normal postcard (4x6)
- Deadline for entry is : April 8th, 2008
-All Artwork will not be returned.
