- Hello world friends,
I am a journalist and a writer at heart. I founded WORKING WITH MEDIA OUTLETS and COACHING FOR LIFE GOULS two years ago. These organizations seek to assist professionals and individuals in general with goals they have set for their lives a long time ago and have not been able to accomplish. Our clients range from a large scope of people hailing from various backgrounds, languages, professions, age, cultures and all walks of life. They all have one thing in common: To improve their quality of life and become attuned with their inner selves as well as with nature and to improve their businesses and careers by having an ample understanding of how to interact with existing media outlets and representatives.
Professional Coaching offers guidance once the person is ready to bring those goals forward and start taking action toward that extra step to “Get to where you want to be and be who you want to become” –our motto.
The relationship that is born between the Exponent and the Professional Coach and the Client and the Media Consultant is unique. It is based on support and confidentiality. This approach helps the goal setter progress easily when they feel that, with special trust and intimacy, anything is possible.
During our Coaching and/or Consulting Sessions over the phone (or in person if we're in Client’s city or if Client is in ours), the Client can be assisted in topics related to the
• Exploration of new ways to boost productivity (both at the work place and at home)
• Establishment of a close relationship with producers, writers, editors and journalists in general in radio, TV, Web, newspapers and magazines so they get to know you and your company and what you represent in the community.
• Learning the simple ways of producing a press release, of pitching your story and following up to those media professionals who will help you promote your idea, event, organization and character
• Discovery of ways to increase communication between and among students, teachers, parents, colleagues, friends and neighbors.
• Enhancement of business horizons (by meeting new partners, contacts, organizations that will benefit your school goals, developing presentations, utilizing marketing and PR wisely)
• Allocation of time for family and friends (to pray, to find ways to contribute to or planet, to dine, to play, to vacation, and to calmly discuss daily issues)
• Furthering of your education (return to school, get a new degree, or take some courses)
• Adoption/Readjustment of healthy exercise and nutritional habits (for maximum performance)
• Elimination of procrastination and learning of time management
• Reduction factors related to stress, hence affecting your health
• Strengthen/Reconnect with your spirituality and your beliefs
• Realization of your place in society (through volunteering, fund raising, attending church, playing golf, developing new community contacts, attend more seminars, participate in career days, ride your bike with town buddies, train and sign up to run a marathon)
• Begin new projects (write a book, create your website, design a vacation plan, write a Power Point Presentation, remodel your place, plant trees, plan to clean ocean shores once a month, collect clothes from your friends and school materials for the needy and send them abroad)

The Parent, The Volunteer... Annoying?
IS IT WORTH IT IT OR ARE YOU VIEWED AS A PLAGUE IN THE EYES OF YOUR CHILD?
Although I’ve had my doubts and my daughters might no longer feel it’s a good idea, taking time to volunteer at school gets you closer to your children. I've been participating in a great variety of activities at my daughters' schools since they were in pre-school and soon found out that their friends were more fund of me than my own flesh and blood.

About Sexual Education in Schools
Let Me Be The Parent, You Be The Teacher
I agree. It is my responsibility to teach my daughters about the intricacies of sexual activity. They are aware of cases such as Jamie Lee Spears getting pregnant at 16, and the group of teen girls who made a pact to become pregnant all at the same time. Wearing Many Hats
Wearing many hats
Wearing multiple hats is my main life story. On a daily basis I find myself, being the mother, the daughter, the business owner, the friend, the sister, the aunt, the wife, the writer, the coach, the volunteer!!!!! Every time I run into someone who says that people cannot do many things and do them well I feel like bringing that person to live with me.

Work At Home Mom
As I said before, worked sometimes 25 hours sometimes 45-55 hours a week, no benefits, no promotion opportunities...nothing...that's why I left; even when friends and relatives begged me not to leave my apparently great job as a media specialist and writer without having first found another job. I guess I just got tired of promises and waiting and seeing others like me that never got anywhere.
