- A teacher in Pinellas County Florida I teach 7th and 8th grade science. On Earth day I recruited the entire school to give back to Mother Earth. Students Pledged to change their wasteful ways. I took my 8th graders to Tierra Verde where they had an opportunity to collect Plankton and look at it under the microscope and discuss the health of our Bay.
