The more I learn about Global Warming the clearer it becomes that the smallest things can make a significant difference. It's easy to forget that electricity and water are items that we actually consume because in many ways they are intangible. Although turning off the faucet while brushing your teeth will not alter your lifestyle - it would save 6 gallons of water a day. That translates to a bathtub full of water a week! According to an article by Terra Pass, a company that helps subscribers offset their carbon emissions, 30% of an average homes carbon footprint is it's water consumption. It doesn't take much to save the world, just education and conscious efforts. Check out this great YouTube video I found on my Professor's page!
