Yes plastic bags are a huge problem.
About the middle of this year here in Australia Supermarkets will no longer be supplying plastic bags to shoppers.
We have to supply our own environmental friendly, shopping bags.

The United States is just so out of touch with reality!!!! Australia has done great things to move forward as a nation being environmentally responsible!!!!!!! Japan, Germany, France and so many other nations too! Here in California, San Francisco has become plastic bag free, but when the Los Angeles city council had a chance to ban the bags they did not do it! I am so bewildered! I don't know what these people are thinking?????!!!!

Anyway Kudos to the Aussies!!!!!!!

I like this video. :D

Whenever I ask to not have a bag people look at me like I'm really strange.
It should be the other way around.
People using paper/plastic bags should get the strange looks!

Good video!! I use cloth bags too!! a couple of times when I forgot my bag I carry my items out! Bagless..
