Originally Earth Day is on April 22nd. But people and organizations are not limited to that date for organizing their Earth Day events. We can organize one day event or a longer-term project according to the situation in our region or community, our environmental issues and goals.
Your plans for planting trees, awareness raising and school greening campaign activities educate and mobilize people for environmental protection related to the issues of your country.
We all know that Earth Day has to be every day!

I applaud your efforts to do something to curb deforestation and raise awareness. One or two people CAN make a difference. I am a teacher in the USA and I would like to use your efforts as an example for my students who have so much, and take so much for granted. Blessings to you. Of course the best answer is that we should "Make everyday Earthday!".

But the official Earthday was originally held on the annual celebration of the March Equinox and still is by many people. However, it is generally celebrated on April 22. Earth day is now celebrated worldwide. Many towns, organizations and so on celebrate during those Spring months (March, April as well as May). But there is no real RULE! My wish would be for many special Earth Days all year long and for people to make celebrating earth part of everything they do everyday.
